When it comes to the internet you are restricted to certain typefaces / fonts. The reason for this is because any website you visit will use the fonts from the computer accessing the internet. If you use a font which is not on a users computer the web page will revert to the default font (usually Times New Roman).
If you see fancy fonts on the web they will normally be saved as images, the problem with this is Search Engines can not read images and if a Search Engine can not read your website then it may not Rank very well in the Search Engines. e.g. less people will be able to find your website.
The following fonts are web safe: Arial, Courier, Courier New, Geneva, Georgia, Helvetica, Monospace, Sans-serif, Serif, Times, Times New Roman and Verdana. It is best to chose a font people can read easily like Verdana or Arial (Sans-serif fonts).
